Ensemble L'arsenale, in collaboration with Teatri Spa, Asolo Musica, Municipality of Treviso, Province of Treviso, Gruppo Compiano, Federazione Cemat, presents the first Atelier on composition and performance of contemporary music.
This year the Atelier will boast the collaboration of Nadir Vassena, Marco Angius,  Mario Caroli e Ciro Longobardi. It will focus on some works for flute solo, piano solo and ensemble going through readings, in-depth studies, open rehearsals and performances.

The ensemble will consist of the members of L'arsenale and of expressly selected young performers, aiming at creating a new kind of experts, as well as bridging a common gap.
The Atelier addresses both young composers and performers (instrumentalists and conductors), who are interested in obtaining a more solid vocational qualification and greater competitiveness at international level.
In each Atelier a restricted number of performers, conductors and composers will be selected for the final concert and they will gain the scholarships provided by L'arsenale.
The Atelier will take place in Treviso (Italy) in November, 20th to 23rd. The applications must be submitted within the midnight of 11th October 2010.
