The music comes to life through the interviewing lines of the deep and lyric voice of Marie Kobayashi and the saxophones of Claude Delangle. A intimate and sensual trip starting from a love chant of the Japanese Eastern culture and getting to its defiling with the extrovert Mediterranean and French passion, all revisited in the manners of contemporary Italian and French composers, who turn the directness of expression into a more contained dimension, close to that of chamber music.
