Cristiana Bertoldo | soprano

Cristiana Bertoldo obtained a first-class degree at the Conservatoire "Benedetto Marcello" of Venice in the summer of 2001.
She participated in many Masterclasses in Singing and Opera Interpretation, including Masterclasses given by Maestro Maurizio Arena at the Conservatoire of Venice, obtaining the related certificates.
She works with the Athestis Choir of Este, conducted by Maestro Filippo Maria Bressan, as well as with the Haydn Choir and Orchestra of Bolzano. With these choirs she performed in radio and television recordings and at many concerts in Italy and abroad, under conductors such as J. Tate, R. Vlad and G. Kuhn.
She sings regularly in chamber music ensembles, in orchestra and in duets involving organ or piano, performing in a classical as well as in a contemporary repertoire. She has also performed some compositions written by C. Ambrosini and L. Andriessen.
She has interpreted various roles in classical opera's, including that of Rosina in the "Barbiere di Siviglia", that of Elvira in "L'ltaliana in Algeri" composed by G. Rossini, the role of Gilda in "Rigoletto" by G. Verdi, that of Musetta in "La Bohème" by G. Puccini, that of Violetta in "La Traviata" by G. Verdi and the role of Kam-Si in "L'inimico delle donne" written by B. Galuppi (first world performance in modern times, Goldoni Theatre, Venice, October 2005).
